Meet Kayla Kershaw, Front and Back Patient Coordinator
In her role at the practice, Kayla keeps the front and back office running smoothly—answering phones, welcoming patients, managing appointments, and assisting with therapies such as e-stim, decompression, and shockwave treatments. She chose to work in the healthcare field as she wanted to make a meaningful impact and positively influence the lives of individuals.
EMT and CPR/BLS certified, Kayla brings clinical experience from her seven months as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her experience and focus help patients feel confident and cared for throughout their visit. “The most rewarding part of the job is to see positive progress among the patients and them walking away feeling better and more satisfied than when they walked in.”
Currently a junior at UCSB studying Biological Sciences, Kayla plans to continue her education after graduation to become a Physician Assistant (PA).

Outside the Practice
Originally from Hermosa Beach, Kayla enjoys spending her downtime outdoors—whether running, swimming, or relaxing at the beach. She also loves traveling and being with family and friends.
